President Donald Trump set an inaugural fundraising record with more than $239 million this year.

In a filing Sunday with the Federal Election Commission, the Trump inaugural committee raised enough money to surpass the previous record of nearly $107 million for the president’s 2017 inauguration.

The nearly $240 million blew away the amount President Joe Biden raised in 2021, when the former vice president raked in nearly $62 million for his inauguration. At the time, the country was still dealing with concerns about COVID-19.
