Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told Newsmax Saturday that Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi “will restore the reputation for equal justice under the law.“

On Wednesday, Bondi was grilled by Senate Democrats on whether she would be independent from President-elect Donald Trump.

Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., asked, “As attorney general, if confirmed, who would be your client?”
