Americans need to be “energy dominant and produce energy in the most responsible, pollutant free, if you will, manner possible,” said Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Pa., on Newsmax.

He added that President Joe Biden’s executive action Monday permanently banning future offshore oil and gas development in parts of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in a way that could be especially difficult for the incoming Trump administration to undo is not surprising and “simply outrageous.”

“Look, there’s nothing pleasant coming out of the Biden administration,” Meuser told “American Agenda.” “And frankly, there hasn’t been for four years. I mean, the idea of banning and not prohibiting offshore drilling is simply outrageous. We do it cleaner in the United States. It is a national security issue. It will help lower inflation. It will create jobs.”
