Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., told Newsmax Tuesday that “we’re scared to death” that liberal Susan Crawford could be elected to the Wisconsin state Supreme Court.

Grothman told “Newsline” that Crawford would be supportive of gerrymandering to increase Democratic congressional districts while decreasing Republican stronghold districts to give Democrats the edge in control of the U.S. House. “Oh, absolutely. Normally, congressmen stay there for two full years. But there’s a real danger that if Susan Crawford wins, she’s going to order new races quickly. 

“Not to mention, historically, Milwaukee has always had one district. She might divide it into two districts or divide Madison into two districts, which would be ridiculous.”
