The Democratic Party is still struggling to gain traction among voters since November’s election defeat, with a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll released Monday showing its approval rating at 37%.
The national survey of 2,746 registered voters taken March 26-27 showed 63% of respondents had an unfavorable view of the Democrat Party. The poll had a margin of error of +/- 1.9 percentage points.
Although the approval rating was 1 percentage point higher than in February’s poll, it still was 10 points lower than in October. The disapproval rating was 1 percentage point higher last month but 10 points lower in October.
