Jim Messina, former campaign manager for former President Barack Obama, told MSNBC on Sunday that early voting numbers “are a little scary” for Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign.
In an interview with MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki,” Messina noted that the numbers caused several of his “friends to call me panicking” after comparing it against 2020’s data.
“Republicans didn’t do what they did last time,” he added, noting that former President Donald Trump’s campaign has embraced early voting in 2024.
