After a summer and fall falsely claiming Democrats would defeat President Donald Trump, Democrat strategist James Carville is now pivoting to calling former Vice President Kamala Harris a “seventh string quarterback” in a “Super Bowl” election.

“If we were playing in a Super Bowl, we started our seventh string quarterback,” Carville told PBS’ “Firing Line With Margaret Hoover.” “That’s what happened.

“OK, let’s — you can’t you can’t address a problem unless you’re honest about a problem. And none of this was inevitable. Never should have happened.”
