Retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt told Newsmax on Saturday that with Iranian proxies Hamas and Hezbollah suffering crippling loses, the Houthis “are about to go down as well.”
On Friday, Israel Defense Forces intercepted a missile fired by Houthi terrorists in Yemen. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the Israeli strikes, and called for a ceasefire, his spokesperson said on Thursday. “Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa International Airport, the Red Sea ports and power stations in Yemen are especially alarming,” the spokesperson said in a statement. Holt said with two of Iran’s proxies down, the Houthis are now “very manageable.”
“Now, the third proxy, the Houthis, are about to go down as well. The United States can either participate in that or not. We’ve just been maintaining the conflict. Nobody’s ever turned the United States Navy loose because nobody’s asking the Pentagon for advice. It’s just Jake Sullivan and Anthony Blinken pretending to be soldiers,” he said during an appearance on “Saturday Agenda.”
