Democrats on Tuesday unveiled their 2025-2026 target map for state legislatures, aiming to counter what they call “MAGA extremism” and strengthen their presence in key battleground states, Breitbart reported.
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee announced its strategy for the next election cycle, outlining states where it plans to focus resources to secure and expand Democratic power in state legislatures.
The committee said its target map identifies critical areas to “strengthen our firewall in state legislatures and counterbalance the MAGA extremism of [President] Donald Trump and the Republican Congress in Washington.”
