Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and other mayors who are vowing to fight back against the deportation of immigrant criminals are “on the wrong side of this issue,” and must face consequences for their actions, Chad Wolf, a former acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, said on Newsmax Sunday. 

“They’re on the wrong side of history when it comes to protecting their citizens and protecting their community from dangerous illegal aliens,” Wolf told Newsmax’s “Sunday Agenda.” “He is actually protecting criminal aliens in his community.”

Johnson told reporters last week that no matter who is president, Chicago will continue to be a city that “opens its arms to people from around the globe.”
