Insulted Rep. Mace to Rep. Crockett: Can ‘Take It Outside’

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., asked Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, if she wanted to “take it outside” after the Lone Star State Democrat referred to her as “child” during a Tuesday meeting of the House Oversight Committee.

According to the New York Post, the purpose of the meeting was to introduce new members and approve the rules for the House panel, but it spiraled out of control when Crockett suggested that Mace was trying to raise money for her campaign by working to ban transgender women from female spaces at the Capitol.

“I can see that somebody’s campaign coffers really are struggling right now,” Crockett said, referring to Mace. “So she’s gonna keep saying trans, trans, trans, so that people will feel threatened.”
