Incoming border czar Tom Homan told Newsmax on Monday that he isn’t concerned with what Democrats like Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, have to say about his qualifications for his position in President-elect Donald Trump’s new administration.
Crockett appeared on MSNBC over the weekend to question Homan’s capabilities, saying he “doesn’t know what he’s doing” when it comes to stemming illegal immigration.
“Look, I made this clear: I don’t care what they say about Tom Homan because I’ve done this job for a long time,” Homan told “Wake Up America.” “I think the president got a mandate in November. He called me to help fix the border. And look, under the Trump administration, we had the most secure border in my lifetime. We’re going to get that secure border again because a secure border saves lives, and no one can argue that.”
