Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, told Newsmax on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, that Christians have developed a “very superficial view of Christmas” that should be dispelled.

Speaking on “Newsline” alongside Rabbi Yaarov Menken, Pavone said that “a lot of people have a very superficial view of Christmas.”

“Yes, it’s about joy and generosity and getting together with friends and family,” but Pavone questioned how people get to “the joy and peace of Christmas,” answering that “the Christian message is that this is not just about the birth of a child, but about the birth of an entire new humanity.”
