“Nothing surprises me about this group,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Newsmax Wednesday in reference to the January 6th committee and the report released on its activity by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga.
“We knew that [witness] Cassidy Hutchinson had said things that just were not accurate,” Jordan told “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” raising examples such as stating that Donald Trump grabbed the steering wheel from the Secret Service driver and talking about a note that one of Trump’s lawyers wrote.
“None of this surprised me … because I caught them lying about me several times. They altered an email, changed the punctuation, said that I had sent it when I had forwarded it from a lawyer who was the former inspector general at the Department of Defense,” Jordan continued.
